c’est la vie

Started the new life for one week.  My boss introduced me as: a new member… and… an old one.

T-1: Right after I accepted the offer, my boss started to throw the projects to me.  Seems like this is a busy job.

1:  On the first day, I was asked to join a customer meeting.  When I just started to understand what the business is about.  Fortunately, (1) the whole team is new and everyone had to learn; (2) I know quite a number of people within this organization; (3) the "customer" was the one whom I knew.

2: One the second day, I was asked to join a conference call in mandarin…I was totally lost. 

3: The third day was a Monday, one of my team members (who joined one week earlier) worked overnight till that Monday on a tender. 

4: The traffic.  I have been working from 11-7 in the last few months.   Waking up early is not a problem for me… but the traffic… well… even though there is a bus route from my home to my office point to point, it is super crowded during the rush hours.  I tried driving on Tuesday… and it was even worse.  It took me more than an HOUR.  Gosh…why everybody go to office at the same time leh?

After the forth day, everything become smoother.  However, I feel really sorry to my friends as I can’t really chit-chat on phone nor MSN during office hours lor… at least 扮下乖都得卦~ :p (actually quite busy ga)

P.S. We have eaten 3 birthday cakes in office this week.  Heeheee…. so many October boys /girls…!!
