c’est la vie

Today is my first real day-off.  2 weeks ago I almost like begging other partners for covering me just once a month - for me having a day-off.

Today is the first day.  I called to remind my partner last night.  I said I would have errands to run today (so please don’t give me trouble).  He promised. 

I went to the beach this morning (wow great sunshine!!).  When I hit back I found an SMS on my mobile.  My part-timer said she can’t come to work today but she found that no one is answering call in the center.  I called my partner.  He said he worked too late last night and couldn’t wake up early.  It was 12pm (center supposed to be opened at 11am).  At around 2pm, another partner called me if I am on leave.  He said still no one in the center…

I called again and he said he was on the way…

At 5pm he called me saying that he has left the unanswered voicemails to me.  Also he said he couldn’t answer a parent’s questions so asked her to call again tomorrow. 

Well……………….

這兩個月來見了很多很多的小朋友, 和家長…發現了:

- 處理小朋友課外活動的, 九成九是媽媽.

- 所有媽媽都很喜歡說自己的子女, 基本上可以 non-stop.

- 所有媽媽的孩子都是資優兒童和明日之星.(;p)

- 還是生女好~ (女孩子真的可愛很多啊).

- 家長並不如想像中難應付.

唯一比較特別的個案:

家長打電話來的時候, 己經不繼要告訴我, 他的孩子是與別不同. 她說他們讀國際學校, 所以跟其他本地的孩子相處不來. 同時也告訴我, 他們住的地區很高貴, 很少來我們的地區(天后很低俗嗎????).

上了幾堂, 她走來問我, 孩子到底學到了什麼? 好像只是玩耍似的?

以為她會不讀了, 卻又繼續. 這一天, 她又走來說, 她教孩子不會好像香港的父母 (我看不到香港的父母有什麼問題). 她說她不許孩子駁咀. 不許他們看電視. 家裡八點半便會上床睡覺…!

怪不得, 孩子怎樣也不像是國際學校出來的孩子….
