c’est la vie

It has been such a long time since my last update….

What I have done so far…

- I left the industry where I have been hanging around for many many years.

- I went to Ocean Park, where I haven’t been there for a long time, to see jelly fishes and sea lions.

- I had my hair permed.

- I started working in a place where I don’t need to wear suits anymore (well… I can… if I like).

- I haven’t had any day off since the first day of May… and this is the first time since I grad…

- I haven’t had any serious meal since the first day of May…

Once a while I asked myself why I am doing all these.  I had stable income.  I worked only office hours and no one asked me any question if I was not in the office.  i have been working in an environment where, everybody around me were smart and clever, no one did ask me stupid questions.  I had long lunches with friends and had dinners with family few times a week.  I had holidays twice a year and travelled to places I liked.

This could be, maybe, or should be, something called mid-life crisis.  You have been doing the same thing for some time and feeling nowhere to go.  You feel like you better try something new now or you will be like this for the rest of your life. 

Someone called me today and asked me the questions which I asked myself few months back.  This triggered me writing this blog.
