tea buffet

We enjoyed an excellent tea buffet last week.

And with that reply, the hotel offered a complimentary tea buffet to me and my partner.
While I found the hotel’s reply satisfactory, I did not really mean to take any benefit from them. It has been "cooled down" for few months until one day my boyfriend proposed to try the hotel’s tea buffet.
Afterall, the service of every individual staff was excellent and the variety of food and the quality are above standard (except for the chinese dim sum to be honest). And of course, valet parking was arranged this time.
