silly us…

Original plan was to see the firework show for French Cultural Year in HK. 

We once thought that the show would have been cancelled because of the bad weather.  But since we (mainly myself) had nothing better to do in the evening, we kept dining in the Harbour City. 

We have chosen a resturant (actually 2 restaurants!!) which has (have) a good seaview.  It was until like 9pm - by the time we were sitting at the outside terrace of El Cid - was wondering if the show would go on.  We suddenly saw some "smoke" on the sky.  Started to realised that the "sea" El Cid is facing is not the Victoria Harbour!

What a pity!

    Let me join the party….We were sitting at Rice Paper, facing the Victoria Harbour, but still….could only see the smoke! The fireworks were completely blocked by buildings. Probably by the Harbour City that you were sitting at. Ha ha.

    oh baby, we were not alone! Anyhow the tiramisu was good…
