after typhoon

26 September, rainy day.

We had typhoon for the whole weekend.  I don’t understand why a typhoon always comes on weekend and leaves before a working day.  Perhaps it needs to go back to work.  (silly joke.)

Usually it takes 45 minutes for me to drive from home to office in the morning.  Today it took 75 minutes.  The additional 30 minutes was mainly due to a number of traffic accidents on my way to office.

2. another one also in Lung Cheung Road but earlier in the morning although it didn’t affect the traffic at the time when I went to work : http://hk.news.yahoo.com/050926/12/1h042.html

Actually there was another smaller accident near Sai Kung which caused another congestion.

I found that the frequency of traffic accident in Lung Cheung Road is almost like twice every week.  Don’t know if the government should do something (besides all those trips to China).
