naive
Honestly, I don’t have many friends who are in their early 20s, except for one or two. They are quite mature from my point of view.
My friend’s girlfriend Y is a young Vietnamese lady. She is about 10 years young than me. Met her a few times and I got the impression that she is a clever girl. She came to HK alone when she was 18 without knowing a single chinese word. Just for a few years and she can now speak fluent cantonese (can almost read the newspaper). I am not sure how similar is between cantonese and vietnamese, but for sure that was not easy.
And she is now doing some business with support from her boyfriend.
And she is pretty.
One day E said to me that A’s girlfriend is too talkative, unlike Y, who is more lovely.
Well, my feeling was that - Y was sometimes too naive… she seems like asking questions and appreciates you knowing the answers. She sometimes try to talk to you in an unnatural way…
The arguments were: (1) she is indeed very young; (2) she is not native.
I think that’s true. And the implications are: (1) generation gap; (2) all men likes women at early 20s. Especially the innocent ones.

As you read from “The Tipping Point”, the comment on one person can be quite different depending on the context (or situation) he/she is in. And sometimes, the comment is on “relative” term.
And, if you are clever enough, you can pretend to be “naive” if you want.
