la vie

We have almost forgotten, that we can choose our lives.

We wake up in the morning, go to work.  After 8 hours or 10, we go back home.  We sometimes dine out with friends, watch a movie maybe.  We go home late at night and sleep almost immediately.  Well online for a while perhaps.  Day after day, year after year.

Once we had dreams.   Once we were aggressive at work.

Year after year we found that lives can’t be easier.  We can make a decent living without spending a lot of effort.  We go to the office, and pretend to work hard.  Tell bosses whatever he wants to listen.  So on and so forth.  Problem is, you will be like this for the rest of your life.

You do something you don’t like in the office, and you still have sufficient time in doing whatever you like in the leisure time.  If you still have the energy.

You can choose to start a new life.  Giving up whatever you have.  Go to school and start over again from uni.  Problem is, whether you can, whether you can capable, and whether it worths.

A friend of mine has chosen this way.  I asked if he feels regret.  And he said no.

If it worths?  God knows…

Reading this blog and the blast in London at the same time…….(depth breathing). Can we choose our lives? This is a very complicated issue. It is hard to say if we look at what happened in London.
But, I always believe, before we die, everything is a sequence of causes and effects, which is dependent on our mind.

And, we realise that sth “worth or not” is very subjective issue.

This was sad, isn’t it. But after 911 and tsunami, we should all learnt that life is short.

We will never know which is the right / best way until the end of the day.

Like Jack (Titanic) said, we should “Make Everyday Counts!”
    Life is so unpredictable……
